Liffey Linguistics can arrange host family accommodation for students who come to Dublin to learn English. We have an extensive network of families in the southside suburbs, which we have visited and approved. Some of these families have been hosting our students for many years and are known for their warmth and hospitality. We have found that students often establish a long-term friendship with their host families and keep in touch over many years. Many of our families are within walking distance of the school, with others only a short bus journey away. If we are unable to place a student within walking distance of the school, then we place them with a family in the outer suburbs. This means that students are not faced with long bus journeys travelling to and from school in rush-hour traffic. Accommodation is half board during the week (bed, breakfast and evening meal) and full board at the weekends.
Should a student prefer to stay in a guesthouse or hotel, this can be arranged. We often book students into a small guesthouse close to the school. All rooms are en-suite and students get a full Irish breakfast every morning. The cost of staying in this guesthouse is Euro 50 per night.

*Liffey Linguistics is not an accommodation agency and can only organise accommodation for students who book and pay for a course of English with our school.
*While every effort is made to provide each student with a single-room, this may not always be possible during June, July, August and September, as there is great demand for host families during these months. In this eventuality students may be required to share a twin-room with another student of a different nationality. Students requesting a single-room will be charged a supplement and should book well in advance. We have a small number of families who can provide students with their own bathroom/shower room. There is an additional charge for this.
