Many students come to Liffey Linguistics to improve their level of English and gain confidence in speaking before entering the job market. We have designed this course to facilitate students such as these. The course comprises 20 lessons of General English. Then on two afternoons each week – Tuesday and Thursday there is a one and a half hour session each day of Job Search Preparation.
The content of the Job Search Preparation Course is as follows:
• Self-profiling and construction of C.V. • Letter of application • Interview Techniques • Interview Rehearsals • Job Market Analysis
Students will be given a list of recruitment agencies with information on the type of jobs offered in each.
They are given assistance in applying for their PPS number (Social Security Number)
All students will receive a test on arrival to make sure that they have the required Intermediate level of English.
*Students can join on any Monday *There is a minimum stay of two weeks.
